I was thrilled to discover that the rooms became non-smoking starting January 1st, 2011, which was fantastic news for me as a non-smoker. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to explore Sofia by foot. However, the dining options were unsatisfactory with additional payments required, and the smell of cigarettes in the rooms was a downside.
